      Rest API could give in information on the SLA calendars (weekdays, times and timezone + holidays). Information could be provided if user specifically needs it (eg. sets "fields" as a request parameter).

            For our case, our app needs to get calendar definitions. Just read.

            There is not even a feature request for that in JSDCLOUD project and we are not allowed to create issues there. So Atlassian people, if you please create a corresponding feature request there?

            Even better, implement this for both server and cloud.

            I was searching for the same API for the cloud when faced with this ticket.

            It would be a nice addition to the cloud too.

            Updating a Custom date field based on a calculation from the Due Date.  I have a client that would like the following:

            1. have x number of days added to the due date and then have that result populate a custom Go-Live-Date field.
            2. x number of days is a dynamic value based on the service desk Issue type and a combination of other custom field criteria.
            3. When adding x number of days the calculation needs to ignore holidays in a specific SLA calendar for that project/issue

            Viewing SLA calendars would be a start. It would be really nice if the API supports to add (at least) holidays to specific calendars.

            Once a year all coming holidays are automatically downloaded and setup for several processes.
            Updating the Jira SD SLA calendar this way would have a great benefit for us.
