    • We collect Jira Service Desk feedback from various sources, and we evaluate what we've collected when planning our product roadmap. To understand how this piece of feedback will be reviewed, see our Implementation of New Features Policy.

NOTE: This suggestion is for JIRA Service Desk Server. Using JIRA Service Desk Cloud? See the corresponding suggestion.

This description would be useful to add a link to a Disclaimer or any other relevant information that users need to know before logging in. This is especially interesting in a customer service use case.

Can this issue be escalated ? We need a way to customize the login page so that user's are not frustrated by trying to login using their email address.

This causes frustration with our customers and unnecessarily wastes time for our team who have to explain over the phone or via email what the user name is and how to login.

I have created a Support Request at https://support.atlassian.com/contact/ for this issue and asked for action.

I recommend everyone else interested in getting this problem fixed do the same.

+1, I would like to be able to add a message on the customer portal login page to tell our Users how to login, e.g. "Please use you Windows/Intranet username and password."

I would like to add an email address to the login page. Users may not have an account, so I want them to use an email address to request an account

It would be very helpful, if we could edit the login page. Visiting customers do not understand, that the login window is meant for them,
unless there are some additional information added (short description with pictures and text and the advantages for them)
