      Currently JIRA Service Desk is available with the following language packs: Spanish, French, German, and Japanese.

      As a JIRA admin, I would like JIRA Service Desk translated into Dutch.

            The pack is 23% translated. Even Nederlands had most translations last week.

            Select "Vertalen" at the left side of the page to begin.

            Is there a way we can translate this ourselves? I don't mind doing so if it means we can use our own language towards our customers.

            As this issue didn't get any feedback from Atlassian I e-mailed them and got this (very dissapointing) reply:

            "At this time there are no plans in the immediate future to add the Dutch language as a default language selection for JIRA Service Desk Cloud. "

            There are some Dutch words that come to mind, but as I'm sure those words will never end up in the translation I won't use them here. Just as we won't use JSD "in the immediate future"....

            We use the JIRA Cloud version which (at the moment) lacks the functionality to import community translations. Not having a Dutch translation and neither being able to add a new language ourselves is a big issue for us when considering JIRA ServiceDesk as main portal for communication with our mainly Dutch customers.

            We are willing to contribute to the translation proces, if this helps to progress this issue.

            We're also looking for a Dutch version, but am I correct in assuming that the translation is an ongoing process? At this time it seems that over 70% still has to be translated...

            @John Kamphorst, i had the same problem and after a long search i found this : https://translations.atlassian.com/ . Here you can find the community translation packages (dutch) for Jira Service Desk and other. Just download the .jar file and upload it as an addon. Don't forget to change the default language to Nederlands in system. Good luck.
