Steps to Reproduce

1. Create an Assets objectType (FirstType) that has an attribute referencing another objectType (SecondType)
2. Create some number of FirstType objects that reference SecondType objects
3. Make a new Assets Custom Field with a Filter Scope of "objectType=FirstType"
4. Make a new Assets Referenced Custom Field. Make the Parent Custom Field the one you created in the step above. Set the Reference Direction "Outbound References"
5. Edit an issue. Select one of the FirstType objects in your Assets Custom Field.

Expected Results

• This should populate the Reference Custom Field with the SecondType objects that the FirstType object has outbound references to

Actual Results

• No objects are listed. This behavior may be intermittent, but it is unreliable for general usage.

There are no log entries showing any activity for this field, even at logging level TRACE.

Workaround

Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available.
