Issue Summary
When Configuring an attribute of type Confluence which contains a link to Confluence page, Confluence access log is flooded with GET Request /rest/api/content. These requests are coming from Jira.
This causes network bandwidth as well as Storage in Confluence server.
This is reproducible on Data Center: Yes
Steps to Reproduce
- Create an Application link between Jira and Confluence
- Create an Object schema and added a ObjectType
- Add an attribute of type Confluence in the Object Type
- Create multiple Object and ensure to add a Confluence page link in the Confluence attribute
- Confluence access logs will have an entry from /rest/api/content for each attribute of type confluence if a page is linked
Expected Results
Confluence access logs should not be flooded with this messages if multiple pages are linked.
Actual Results
The below exception is thrown in the xxxxxxx.log file:
xxx.xx.xx.xxx admin [xx/yyy/zzzz:00:00:00 +0000] "GET /confluence/rest/api/content/12334?......
Workaround
dropping the indexed attribute will stop the indexing from happening. However, if the confluence page name is updated, this will not be reflected in Assets.
