      Issue Summary

The updated icons for the request type are not displaying correctly in the customer portal issue search screen.

This is reproducible on the Data Center: Yes

      Steps to Reproduce

      • Create a new Jira Service Management Project.
      • Navigate to the below screen and change the customer request type icon for any of the Request type.
        • Project-->Project Settings -->Request Types
      • Edit the “Customer Request Type” for which the icon was modified and add Any of the following fields:
        • Component/s
        • Affect Version/s
      • The project shouldn't have any components or version values.
      • Create a ticket for the request type for which the icon has been updated
(the Component/s and Affect version/s fields are not displayed because there are no values)
      • Navigate to the search screen on the customer portal and search for recently created issues. The issues are listed with an incorrect customer request type icon.
        • When the same issue is opened, the customer request type icon is displayed correctly.

Note: Please refer to the attached screen recording for detailed steps on how to reproduce the issue.

      Expected Results

The changed request-type icons should be displayed correctly in the customer portal issue search screen.

      Actual Results

The changed request-type icons are displayed incorrectly in the customer portal issue search screen.

      Workaround

If we follow any of the steps outlined below, the functionality will work as expected.

      • If we remove the Component/s and Affect Version/s fields from the request type screen and check the icon on the search screen, the icon is correctly displayed.
      • If we add some components and version values, the icon on the search screen will appear correctly.
