Issue Summary
This is reproducible on Data Center: yes
Object history does not show old / new values for textarea attribute in 5.13.
Occurs on 5.12 and below depending on the value in the textarea. Eg, tables at the start of the content.
Steps to Reproduce
- Create a textarea attribute on an object type
- Create an object and in the textarea, insert a table with some text in it. The problem happens with any text entered in the textarea attribute.
- Edit the object and change some of the text in the textarea
Expected Results
History is populated with old and new values in the textarea
Actual Results
Old and new values are empty

Workaround
Modify Jira's dark features by following the steps below
- Navigate to <BASE_URL>/secure/admin/SiteDarkFeatures!default.jspa
- Enter assets.atlas.editor.object.textarea.attributes.disabled in the Enable dark feature section
- Click on Add
Note this feature flag will only fix histories going forward. Any created since 5.13 will not display until 5.17.0+
