provide an Assets report that count the number of inbound reference for one or more objects

    • We collect Jira Service Desk feedback from various sources, and we evaluate what we've collected when planning our product roadmap. To understand how this piece of feedback will be reviewed, see our Implementation of New Features Policy.

      At the moment the reports available do not offer the chance to create a report which show the count of inbound references for one or more objects.

      It would be nice to implement and offer such kind of report.

            This would be an excellent feature (useful to everyone!). I need to clean up an instance of insight and need to resolve the real number of assets a user has by counting the inR()'s via an IQ.

            This is very much needed. I have a customer who wants to use Asset as CRM and this kind of feature are blocker

            This would be a great feature to have; sometimes you'd want to see a list or count of "inbound references" to an object. 

            For example:   We want to export facility object with inbound reference object from Assets (ex: Desktops, switches, routers) with a total count or list of all references.  So X facility could have for example 3 desktops, 2 switches and 1 router.  This can be easily seen in Jira but have a list of all facilities with all "inbound references" could be useful during implementation when you'd want a status update on implementation..etc
