Details

    Description

When configuring JIRA Service desk to force customer sign-in, there is also an invitation sent for Bitbucket account.

By default DVCS is configured to automatically send invitations to new users, Here is the documentation for Configuring Automatic Team Invites to Bitbucket . This describes the process for adding groups from JIRA to the list on invitees in Bitbucket.

      Expected Behavior

Users created by Service Desk should not be receiving invites to Bitbucket.

      Actual Behavior

They are receiving an invite to Bitbucket and giving the users with developers or administrators access.

      Workaround

      1. As Administrator go to: https://<Instance Name HERE>.atlassian.net/secure/admin/ConfigureDvcsOrganizations!default.jspa
      2. Click the cog menu and select Configure automatic access and deselect Developers and/or Administrators.
      3. Moving forward you will have to manually send invitations to new users.
