Resolution
This bug is resolved on Service Desk version 2 and above with agent based license.
You have to update UPM to the latest version available to avoid JSD-795.
Currently we create a service desk project the project roles for Service Desk Customer and Service Desk Team will be automatically assigned to jira-users as you can see the following screenshots:
It will be better if we could implement a default group option for these roles instead since most of the customer would prefer a customized group being added instead of the jira-users group.
Customer feedback:
We are running a large JIRA instance which are using by around more then 200 project teams and we do not want any global default access (like access to "jira-group") to newly create Service Desk project. We will explicitly provide customized access to newly created Service Desk project (based on project team requirement).
