      NOTE: This suggestion is for JIRA Service Desk Server. Using JIRA Service Desk Cloud? See the corresponding suggestion.

      Summary

      At the moment, certain features are restricted to certain project types. For example, Service Desk does not have any Releases or Versions tab available.

      In JIRA versions prior to JIRA 7, this will be available for all projects and there are customers who are already accustomed to using Versions along with their Service Desk project

      Suggestion

      If an instance has all applications (Core, Software, SD) and valid licenses, give them the option whether they want all features to be in the different project types
