The projects won't appear in browse project view after Bugzilla import

      Jira 3.5.3, JIra 3.6 , Windows XP, IE

      After a Bugzilla import the projects can be viewed in the administration->projects view. But if I go to Browse project they won't show up.
      If I restart tomcat they will appear. Is there some other workaround for this error or do I have to restart tomcat?
