Unfortunately, the danish alphabet contains three special letters: "æ, ø, å". If a persons name contains one or more of these letters, the From field in a JIRA notification looks peculiar as can be seen from the attachment. The correct name is "Jørn Gaardsvig Nielsen" as shown in the contents of the notification. However, in the From field this has been garbled considerably.

Is there any way to circumvent this?
