I find the feature that assigns the first CC member with the issue created by email is pretty useless: when users are reporting issues they do not know what an "assigner" is, they only know they have an issue.

If they put people on the cc list is because they want those people to be aware of the following discussion, and as such I think that there should be an option to add those people as watchers to the issue opened with an e-mail messae.
