Quick search by default creates a new filter with no project selected. My suggestion is to have it inherit the current context's project selection.

      • So if I'm at the home page, it creates a non-project filter.
      • If I'm in Issue Navigator then it uses whatever the current filter's project selection is.
      • If I'm in a bug, then it uses that bug's project.

Perhaps control this with a little checkbox next to "Quick Search" called "Use current project"...? See the problem I have is that every time I use quick search I always have to go back and narrow the results. I understand that I can include the project's code in the search terms but that's just not as Quick. Plus it may be a pain if I've got an issue navigator open for multiple projects.
