A question about the possibility of having unique Issue Types per project

I was wondering if it is at all possible to have a unique set of Issue Types for a single project. For some reason I was under the impression that I could do it with this latest version of JIRA.

And if it is possible I would greatly appreciate it if you could please point me in the right direction on how this can be done.
