We using Jira extensive even for project planning and progress tracking. If you accidentally mistype your work log you have no chance to correct it. The entry of a too low value could be corrected but if you enter a too high value the tracking is completely wrong.
E.g. I will enter 2d and forget the d (day) this results in 2 minutes -> correction possible with an additional worklog 1d 7h 58m
I will enter 2h and accidentally enter 2d -> correction is not possible.

(1) Is this feature covered in one of the latest releases or in the enterprise version?
(2) Is such a feature somehow planned for further release?
(3) Is it possible to add such a functionality to one of the plugin interfaces (release)?
