The Jira Data Center for Microsoft Teams bot currently only prompts for or accepts a time duration (e.g., "1h 30m"). There is no field or parameter available to capture the "Work Description" or "Comment" associated with that work log.

Users who are required to provide context for their time tracking (common in enterprise and government environments) must leave the Microsoft Teams interface and navigate to the Jira issue directly to add a description. This can impact user efficiency, data integrity, and compliance.
