Issue Summary

Bullet/numbered lists copied directly from installed Microsoft Word are no longer pasted into Jira comments as proper lists in the Windows environment. Copying the same from Google Docs works. The issue is observed in Jira 10.3.24, while it works fine with Jira 10.3.23

Steps to Reproduce

• Create a Word document from the installed MS Word on the Windows environment and add the bullets or numbered list below:
  • TEST1
  • TEST2
  • TEST3
  • TEST4
• Now copy and paste the above bullets in the Jira comment section.

Expected Results

The three entries should be inserted as a proper bullet list without requiring manual removal of bullet characters or correction of the spacing.

Actual Results

The content is not inserted as a proper Jira bullet list. The bullets are inserted as characters and the spacing is not preserved correctly

Workaround

Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available.
