Issue Summary

Currently for Opensearch search engine the indexing is performed in the background by default as mentioned in Search Indexing.
Requesting for a configurable option for foreground-style re-indexing in OpenSearch. This would allow administrators like you to choose between maximum throughput and continuous availability, depending on operational needs.
