Severity 3 - Minor
Description
When building a Two Dimenstional gadget and selecting Teams vs issue type, sub-tasks are not inheriting the "teams" value, and hence, it will always display zeroed in the amount of issues, but when we click in that amount, Jira will open the issue search screen and in that screen the JQL is correctly populating the amount of issues, this creates a big divergency between the gadget with what is currently returning in the issue search screen.
Steps to Reproduce
- Create an EPIC
- Create 5 sub-tasks on it
- Create a Shared team
- Set the Shared team in the EPIC
- In any Dashboard build a new Two-Dimensional field using:
-
- Issue type vs Team
- Note that Gadget will display ZERO sub-tasks instead of 5
- Click on the 0 to open the issue search screen
- JQL will return 5 creating then the mismatch
Expected Results
- The gadget to be in sync with JQL, in other words, parent issue needs to always inherit values from the main issue.
Actual
- Sub-task is not inheriting the teams value from the Epic
Workaround
The only know workaround is to use different gadget ie: filter results
