Issue Summary

After the migration from 10.3.16 LTS to v11.3.3 LTS, Piecharts are not showing slice for a customfields for which values are 'none'.

Steps to Reproduce

• Create a single-select custom field “Acceptance Status” with several options as below and no default value; add it to a project’s screens.
  • Open
  • Accepted
  • Accepted with findings
  • Not accepted
  • Not applicable
• Create issues so that some have a value in Acceptance Status and some leave it empty.
• Save a filter that returns all these issues (including the ones with empty Acceptance Status).
• Create a dashboard, add a Pie Chart gadget, use that filter, and set Statistic Type = Acceptance Status.
• Observe that issues with empty/None Acceptance Status are not shown as a slice in the Pie Chart, even though they are in the filter results.

Expected Results

The slice for custom fields with value "None" should be shown in Piechart.

Actual Results

The slice for custom fields with value "None" are not being shown in Piechart.

Workaround

Currently, no workaround is available.
