      Hi everyone,

At this time, this suggestion is not on the JIRA development roadmap. There are a number of add-ons on the Atlassian Marketplace available to support this. Please remember that jira.atlassian.com is one of many inputs for the JIRA roadmap. You can learn more about our process here.

A customer requested cascading fields that have more than 2 levels of variables. They specifically requested the ability to have up to a 3 level - 4 level deep cascading field list.

Perhaps this could be programmed in such a way that would easily allow customers to add as many levels as they wished?

[JRASERVER-7936] Add 3+ level cascading custom field type

Agreed I would love to have this built in natively!

Yes, extending to cascading fields to more than two levels is much required. In our company many of our Jira customers requesting the same and we were unable to help them on this.

Hope this will be considered by Atlassian and keep it under their road map.

Hi everyone, you can give a try this free app. It helps you define easily multi-level and tree custom fields.
