When Jira uses multiple user directories, such as Internal Directory and LDAPs, group memberships from different directories are not aggregated but are instead pulled from the top directory. As a result, even if Jira displays correct memberships, they may not sync with Confluence, complicating membership management and troubleshooting.

Suggestion

Add a feature to the UI to clearly indicate:

1. When a group exists in multiple directories
2. Specify which directories it appears in
3. Identify the directory from which the group is actively being pulled
