When editing a multiline text field on a work item (e.g. description) using automations, it is not treated as markdown.

Examples:

1. "# Example Header" should be rendered as a heading, but is instead treated as a numbered list.
2. "[] checklist item" is not rendered as a checklist / action item, but is left as plain text.

 

This does not match expected behavior and does not seem to be documented anywhere.
