Issue Summary

In Jira 11, the S/Notify Email Encryption app can no longer encrypt emails due to an incompatibility introduced by the jakarta.mail migration. The SMTP provider from the app's library is not called, preventing encryption of outgoing emails.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Install or upgrade to Jira 11 with the S/Notify Email Encryption app.
2. Attempt to send an encrypted email using the app.

Expected Results

Outgoing emails should be encrypted by the S/Notify Email Encryption app as configured.

Actual Results

Outgoing emails are not encrypted because the app’s SMTP provider is not invoked.

Workaround

Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
