Summary:

Jira minor version upgrade can be performed with zero down time. After successful minor version upgrade, if we see some issues( (plugins, integrations ) with the newer version, we often times have to roll it back. However, the only way to roll back minor version upgrade is to roll back the database. And if we roll back the database , Jira loses all the data that was updated since the minor version upgrade and this is not acceptable in most cases. 

So, we would like a feature in Jira, where we can roll back to the older minor version of Jira without losing the changes that were made since the upgrade.
