We need to adjust the Secret Service to ensure it integrates smoothly with Kubernetes (K8s) configurations. Currently, we're facing issues with the secret feature across various products, such as Bitbucket and Confluence. When encryption fails, nothing is logged in the Jira logs for the pods, which makes troubleshooting more difficult.

Disabling the secret using the  -Datlassian.secret.service.state=disabled flag solves the issue. However, the secrets should not cause error in brand new installations.
