Problem Definition

When a ticket is created or an attachment is added, the confirmation pop-up message remains visible until the browser is refreshed. This behavior can negatively impact user experience, as the message does not automatically dismiss and stays on the current page. This functionality was introduced in Jira version 10.2 onwards as part of our ongoing accessibility improvements.

Accessibility improvements for low-vision and keyboard-only users

As promised, we’re bringing more accessibility updates for screen reader and keyboard-only users removing the critical severity defects. The highlights for this release include corrections for the underlying HTML structure or JS logic.

Create a dark feature or system configuration to turn off the pop-up confirmation messages for those who don't want the confirmation messages to stay on the screen.
