Problem statement

Due to the bug https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSWSERVER-16687 , user are not aware of the Agile reports impact after made the workflow changes. Although the workaround is to adding back the legacy status to the workflow but sometimes the legacy status were removed without any recovery can be done on the system. This require the admin to roll back the data and redo the workflow migration again.

Solution

It would be great to improve user awareness by providing an alert when a status is removed so users understand the impact upfront such as Agile report inconsistent data.
