it would be great if we could configure Jira to treat all valid user accounts in an Active Directory OU as users with a specific set of configurations. e.g. all valid user accounts matching CN=*,OU=xyz,DC=company,DC=com are Jira users who belong to the Jira group "jira-users"

if/when exceptions are necessary they could be manually specified by adding local users whose configuration could override data pulled from AD.
