Active Directory integration (more user info from AD)

    • We collect Jira feedback from various sources, and we evaluate what we've collected when planning our product roadmap. To understand how this piece of feedback will be reviewed, see our Implementation of New Features Policy.

it would be great if in the "Add User" dialogue we could tell Jira an Active Directory username, in either "domain\username", "username@domain", or "username" format, and have Jira query AD for the user's common name and email address as needed.

NOTE: I'm not requesting that Jira query AD once and store the auxiliary information but rather that Jira query AD each time the data is needed, this way if the data changes Jira stays dynamic.
