Screen Recording
Actual Results
When users navigate through the "Issue View" page using the "JAWS 2025" screen reader on a "Windows 10" machine with the "Down Arrow" key and interact with the "To Do" button, the code for the button is announced to them.
JAWS announces the button as "To Do <span class="jira-issue-status-tooltip-title">To Do</span>".
As a result, screen reader users are presented with unnecessary information, leading to a poor user experience.
Expected Results
Ensure that the screen reader does not announce the code of the "To Do" button when users interact with it. The screen reader should only announce relevant and meaningful information, such as the button's label. This will help prevent unnecessary content from being read aloud and improve the overall accessibility experience for screen reader users.
Workaround
Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
