Issue Summary

This is reproducible on Data Center: yes

We have Jira and Confluence Data Center, connected via an application link. The user creates a filter in Jira and then inserts a Jira issue/filter macro in a Confluence page. After this, inside a Jira Dashboard, the user adds a Confluence Page Viewer gadget using the ID of Confluence's page, but it doesn't load the embedded content. The Confluence Page Viewer keeps loading indefinitely.

No notable error has been found yet in the logs, or in a HAR file.

Steps to Reproduce

1. In Jira, create a filter based on a JQL query.
2. In a Confluence page, insert a Jira issue/filter macro, using the ID of the filter created in Jira. For example:
   1. Jira's filter URL: https://linux-93185.prod.atl-cd.net/jira/browse/SCRUM-23?filter=10100
   2. Parameter used in Jira issue/filter macro: filter = 10100  
3. In a Jira Dashboard, add a Confluence Page Viewer gadget, select the existing application link to Confluence, and use Page ID as the selection method. For example:
   1. Confluence page URL: https://linux-93185.prod.atl-cd.net/confluence/spaces/TES/pages/1081346/My+Sandbox+1
   2. Confluence page ID to be used in Confluence Page Viewer gadget: 1081346/
4. The Confluence Page Viewer attempts to load the required content but keeps loading indefinitely.

Expected Results

Confluence Page Viewer gadget embeds content from the referenced Confluence page and is displayed in Jira's Dashboard.

Actual Results

The Confluence Page Viewer attempts to load the required content but keeps loading indefinitely.

Workaround

Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
