Issue Summary
Right-clicking function menu not working as expected in Visual edit mode for multiline text fields like description, comment etc. Hence it is not possible to use basic functions like dictionally, cut, copy, paste anything.
On right click, system displays table options like Insert Row, Insert Column even when those fields don't contain any tables. This is not an expected behaviour.
Steps to Reproduce
- Open any one of the Jira issues available in the system.
- Open up any multiline text fields such as description, comment, resolution details etc.
- Right-click anywhere within the field.
Expected Results
System comes up with the normal Right-Click function menu options such as copy, cut, paste, and grammar/spelling suggestions if clicked on a relevant word.
Actual Results
System only brings up the table editor even there's no table in the text field. So this blocks users from using any UI functionalities depending on right click.
Workaround
Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available.
Alternatively, users can switch to text mode while editing these fields. In text mode the functionality is working fine.
