Problem Statement:

Our infrastructure teams have a specific list of what database types and versions we can use, and for how long. As a result, Jira needs to be officially supported on Postgres 17 so that we can remain compliant with our policies

Summary:

Customers want to use the most recent version of PostgresSQL which, as of September 26, 2024, is version 17.

Currently, Jira 10 is supported on up to Postgres 15

Please add support for Jira on Postgres 17 as soon as possible
