Issue Summary

When trying to sort comments from an issue with many comments (1000, for example), Jira may never complete the request, leaving it loading in the UI indefinitely.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Access an issue with 1000 comments
2. Click on "Load more older comments" to expand the list of comments
3. Hold the Shift key, then click on "Load more older comments" again to load all comments
4. Click on "Newest first" or "Oldest first" to sort the comment order

Expected Results

The comments are eventually displayed in the chosen sort order.

Actual Results

The request loads indefinitely with no response:
