As an user, if I paste a link using Microsoft Edge functionality that copies not just the URL, but the page title and if that page title contains a special character such as | (a pipe), Jira should properly parse it and display the link.

Instead right now, it's breaking the link as the text editor is interpreting it like:

[Google | Search|https://google.com]

That extra pipe is breaking the link.

Workaround

Edit the link in the Text editor or remove the special character before saving the comment.
