Summary

When Swedish language setting is configured in Jira either globally or in the user profile, the Date in the issue activity stream is displayed in incorrect format. 

Example:

Environment

• Jira 9.12.7 and 9.12.4 with English default language and user profile set to Swedish.
• Jira 9.12.7 and 9.12.4 with Swedish default language and user profile set to Swedish.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Log into your Jira with any user ID and navigate to Profile page.
2. Under Preferences click on Edit.
3. In the Language selection picker, select Svenska(Sverige)
4. Open any existing ticket and check the activity tab. The date format is incorrect.

Expected Results

The date is filled correctly according to the language pack.

Actual Results

Notes

This bug ticket was originally indicating that the translation pack might have been the cause of this problem. However upon further investigation it appears that Jira itself is not correctly handling regional differences in regards to the format of the date. Dates in all other language pack does not show this behaviour.

Workaround

Currently there is no work around for this issue.
