Issue Summary

As seen from Jira Software 9.7.x release notes (documented here) and the product documentation (documented here), the pinned comments should always appear in the same order, from the newer in the top. However, from Jira 9.7 and newer, the order presented is the older at the top.

Steps to Reproduce

Using a Jira Software version 9.7.0 or newer, pin 2 or more comments.

Expected Results

The most recent comment appears at the top.

Actual Results

The older comment appears at the top.

Workaround

Currently, there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
