In the documentation for all releases of Jira in the Java section on the Good to Know table we have the following text:

As a best practice, we recommend using the latest version of Java.

According to the Java Downloads page, the latest version is 22, and the latest LTS is 21, which is not yet supported in our latest release of Jira.

I'd recommend switching this text to:

As a best practice, we recommend using the latest supported version of Java on this page.

Or something similar to highlight that we recommend the latest version of Java that Atlassian supports and tested in our products.
