Jira is throwing CSSErrorListener error when sending notifications.

      Issue Summary

      Jira will throw CSSerrorlistener errors when Jira sends notifications. Despite the error, mail is delivered accordingly.

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Setup Jira 9.12.5
      2. Configure the SMTP server for notifications.
      3. Either send notifications by updating a ticket or via Send Mail (jira/secure/admin/SendBulkMail!default.jspa)
      4. Observe error in atlassian-jira.log  
        cat /var/atlassian/application-data/jira/log/atlassian-jira.log | grep "admin ERROR"

      Expected Results

      Jira should not report errors when sending mail as it causes doubt and confusion.

      Actual Results

      Application logs will produce the error:

            Yup, this is affecting our 9.12.10 instance. Not ready to upgrade to 10.2. Please backport a fix.

            On a big Jira instance we are seeing this error around 200 times a day. I can tell that this comes from filter subscriptions as we can see this errors exactly 15mins apart from the same users. 

            related to c.v.w.csskit.antlr4.CSSErrorListener in 9.12.11

            We upgraded 3 months ago and now in the last week we had to restart out Jira application to fix this.  Both incoming and outgoing email gets impacted by this.  Happened 2 times this week.

            Is it the same problem? For subscription I get CSSError:

            as well. Please fix, what does mean gathering impact? I would expect an impact analysis within hours or days, not month. If you have questions related to ITSM, just let me know
