    Description

      Problem Definition

As a Jira administrator, I would like to choose if an audit event is stored on the database, on the log file or on both.

There are some type of events that may need to be stored for longer, which sending them to the log file is preferred for further processing by external tools.

However, these entries might not be needed on the database as constantly searching for them won't happen.

As an example, an administrator may need to record User login successful events on the log file, but may want to exclude sending it to the database.

      Suggested Solution

Make it possible to choose where audit events from each component would be saved.
As an administrator I would like to choose only the database, only the log file or both.

This should also be an option when excluding events.
As an administrator I would like to choose from which data store (database or log file) I would like to exclude it.
