Description
Issue Summary
Jira 9.13.x and 9.14.x are coming with the wrong SSO for Atlassian Data Center plugin version.
This is reproducible on Data Center: YES
Steps to Reproduce
1 - Install Jira 9.13 or 9.14
2 - Check the SSO for Atlassian Data Center version
The plugin version 4.3.x is supported only for Bamboo and Bitbucket. Please refer to the link SSO for Atlassian Data Center
Expected Results
It's expected the plugin version 4.2.x or 4.3.9+ (4.3 versions below 4.3.9 are not fully compatible with Jira)
Actual Results
It's coming with plugin version 4.3.x which is build-specific for Bamboo and Bitbucket - SSO for Atlassian Data Center - Version History
e.g. for Jira 9.13.0
<plugin> <key>com.atlassian.plugins.authentication.atlassian-authentication-plugin</key> <name>SSO for Atlassian Data Center</name> <version>4.3.7</version> <vendor>Atlassian</vendor> <status>ENABLED</status> <vendor-url>https://www.atlassian.com/</vendor-url> <framework-version>2</framework-version> <bundled>Bundled</bundled> </plugin>
While the main SSO features are still functional, this may break some of them, such as:
- Customer portal form authentication may not work
Workaround
The administrator should upgrade the plugin version to 4.3.9 (or higher), available on the Atlassian Marketplace.
This can be performed through the UPM admin page. Refer to How to re-enable plugin upload if your Jira instance cannot connect to the Atlassian Marketplace.
