- (Optional) Add a few comments to the issue;
- Click the Description field again (to enter edit mode) and highlight any text line by holding LMB and dragging it through the text (highlighting by double-clicking works fine)
Expected Results
Users can highlight the text like in Visual mode.
Actual Results
The browsers scroll bar is moved to the bottom of the page and the user can't highlight the text.
Workaround
- The problem has been identified while using Google Chrome version 121.0.6167.139.
- The problem affects some of Chromium-based browsers, including Microsoft Edge; on Arc browser which is also Chromium based the behavior is correct.
- Tests in Safari and Firefox did not result in the incorrect behavior; these browsers can be used as a workaround.
