Description
Issue Summary
This is reproducible on Data Center: Yes
Steps to Reproduce
- Create a fresh Jira environment.
- Go to the configuration cog > Issues > Custom Fields And observe the number of Custom fields in total.
- Go to the configuration cog > System > System Info page. Look for the "Custom fields" section and observe that the total should be the same as the Custom Fields page.
- Add an app like Scriptrunner to your environment.
- Go to the configuration cog > Issues > Custom Fields And observe the number of Custom fields in total, it should have gone up by one.
- Add some custom fields using that app if you like, but app installation creates a custom field called "issueFunction" out of the box.
- Go to the configuration cog > System > System Info page. Look for the "Custom fields" section and observe that the total should be the same as the Custom Fields page. It should match what is in the Custom Fields page.
- Uninstall the Scriptrunner app
Expected Results
- The total number of Custom Fields on the Custom Fields page goes back to the original number
- The count of Custom Fields on the System Info page goes back to the original number
Actual Results
- The total number of Custom Fields on the Custom Fields page goes back to the original number
- The count of Custom Fields on the System Info page does not go back to the original number and stays at the number it was at creating inconsistency
There are no relevant logs. Neither a full reindex, nor a reboot of the system seems to refresh the number in the System Info page
Workaround
For the time being please rely on the Custom Fields page as the correct number.
