      Problem

There currently aren't any audit traces when System Dashboard is modified.

      Suggested Solution

Start keeping audit logs for when System Dashboard is modified.

      Why This Is Important

System Dashboard is one usually one of the first pages which users access, which means it's accessible by all users. It's in best interest of admins to know who made changes to this dashboard.

      Workaround

No known workaround. If you are aware when the changes are made, you can check the access logs found in <Jira_Install>/logs/access_log.20YY-MM-DD file and search for /secure/admin/EditDefaultDashboard!default.jspa to see which user accessed (and potentially made changes) to the System Dashboard configuration page.
