Issue Summary
This is reproducible on Data Center: (yes)
Steps to Reproduce
- Use a filter including issues from a service project AND a software project.
- Use “Detail View”.
- Click on an issue from the service project, select the add comment option, and then cancel it without adding any comment.
- Click on an issue from the software project, and select the add comment option → two comment text boxes appear.
Another test case
- The same behaviour could be also replicated on a single project boards
- Open the backlog page of the Agile board and select any issue to open "Detail View"
- Next open a new comment form at "Detail View" and close it (click on the "Cancel" button) without adding any content
- Click on the same issue on the board again and repeat 3rd step
- Upon several attempts (click at issue > open comment form in detail view > cancel > click at issue) the second comment form will start to appear. Please refer to the attached video for additional details. The problem could be replicated disregarding to used browser (verified using Firefox and Chrome 127.0.6533.100)
Another symptom
- Open issue search (Issues -> Search for issue), select any project. Switch to "List View".
- Click on one of the issue, add comment and click on the down arrow at top right corner to go to next issue.
- Around forth or fifth item the comment form is duplicated
Expected Results
The comment text box should appear only once.
Actual Results
Two comment text boxes appear.
Workaround
Refreshing the backlog page helps to prevent duplicate comment forms once an issue is triggered. Other workarounds will be added here when available
