Description
Issue Summary
If the Issue link type outward description is renamed it can break the Issue link type suggestion for a user.
At the moment, under Global issue create screen a Issue link type is suggested to a user based on the last Link type they chose to create an issue.
Steps to Reproduce
- Have an issue link type called Clone. Assume the outward link description is "clones". Notice the small 'c'.
- Create an Issue from Global issue create screen from the top navigation bar. Select the link type as clones for the issue. Now this entry gets stored in DB for the user as the last-used link type.
- Rename the outward description for this link type to "Clones". Notice the capital 'C". One can rename the link types from the Issue link configuration page.
- Now navigate to Global issue create page again. Scroll down to Issue link dropdown. It should show the previously selected link type.
Expected Results
Should show "Clones" as the first one from dropdown as this was the one selected by the user previously to create a ticket.
Actual Results
Some other link type will be shown other than "Clones".
This happens because the change in link type description is not propagated to the table that stores the user's previous selection information to show the last used linktype in the dropdown.
Workaround
Change the outward description back to the original one, i.e "clones".
