Description
Issue Summary
Deleting an active user from the AD with higher priority and adding it to the AD directory which lower priority makes the user inactive
This is reproducible on Data Center: yes
Steps to Reproduce
AD 1 is placed on top of AD 2 in the user directory list
- There are 2 AD directories and 1 internal directory
- User A is located in AD 1.
- The LDAP filter for AD 1 is changed so that user A is no longer synchronized to Jira. Since this user had some activity in Jira (comments, assignee on the issue) it is being marked as inactive)
- User A is then inserted in AD 2 where user A is part of the users to be synchronized to Jira
Expected Results
User A should now be reactivated as it is in the set of synchronised users.
Actual Results
Jira is checking AD 1 first. Since the user is marked inactive in the top user directory, Jira treats it as inactive
Workaround
To avoid scenarios where the same user belongs to two or more user directories at the same time.
